Michi is back

Taifun season
The second Taifun in 4 weeks has passed over the region. Luckily, again, it only brought wind, rain and cooler temperatures to Shanghai.
Let’s see how this affects air traffic. My flight to Wuhan seems to be on time. This would be already the second flight on time ;-). Two weeks ago, I had 12h delay on the flight from Beijing, and twice already, I have taken the “overnight express” (planes that are scheduled to leave in the evening but are delayed until early morning).
No crowd so far at Hangqiao (10min after boarding). So let’s see

On July 1st, Michi and I embarked on an adventure to China. I have a three year contract to work in Shanghai. We are 5 weeks into our stay and already had our share of ups and downs. But we already feel quite at home in this awesome and vibrant city. I will use this blog to write about our journey.
