Relax in Shanghai

After 6(!) weeks of non stop action, we are on our second “free” weekend in Shanghai. Last QingMing weekend, we spend doing absolutely nothing (except churning through a few movies).

This weekend is another relaxing treat. Yesterday, we went on a long walk from our home all thr way around lujiazui to the Kempinsky. At night, we had dinner at a great restaurant, right at the river overlooking the bund. We stocked up on sashimi (shrimp sashimi came in a scary way) and had some great beef.

Today, I participated in my first chinese running competition at the oriental sports stadium. I finished the 10k; lets not talk about the time. But it was good fun (almost got trampled by chinese girls as some korean popstar came on stage before the start, otherwise no incidents)

  1. Hi Fabian, this is Rolf, the gardener of your father. I just had a look at your blog. What do you eat? German Sausage Dog? I´m horrified about, your meal selection! I´m impressed about your other pictures. Have a good time with the Chinese and the country. Rolf from BS
